Donald B. Murray is an accomplished Founder and Chief Executive Officer with wide-ranging executive leadership experience across strategic planning, professional services, financial operations and management, business development, international operations, enterprise risk management, as well as corporate governance.
Don founded RGP in 1996 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of RGP. He has served on RGP’s Board since its founding and previously served as RGP’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman.
Don founded RGP with the vision to create a global consulting firm that focused on project execution services that power clients’ operational needs and change initiatives utilizing on-demand, experienced and diverse talent. In founding RGP, Don recognized the power of women in business and saw RGP's unique business model as a way to provide meaningful and flexible employment opportunities for diverse professionals. His hands-on, customer-centric orientation continues to add value to the RGP Board in key areas such as strategic planning.
Prior to founding RGP, Don was a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he ran the firm’s Orange County, CA office. He also currently serves on the board of advisors for the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, Center for Innovation.
