David P. White

David White is an executive coach and strategy consultant with over 30 years of leadership success. He is the former National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA). He is the Deputy (Vice) Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and serves as Board Chair of the Mayor's Fund for Los Angeles, which brings private sector resources to address public sector challenges. He is a corporate board member of the global consulting firm, RGP (Nasdaq: RGP), and is a strategic advisor to Ulu Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early stage companies and emphasizes support for diverse entrepreneurs. 

Previously, he was an attorney at O’Melveny & Myers and prior to law school, he was Executive Director of the nonprofit organization, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, in Kansas City.

David has been a civic leader and extensively involved with supporting nonprofits. He has served as an urban planning Commissioner for the city of LA and a Commissioner for the Hollywood Commission to eliminate sexual harassment in the industry. He was Board Chair and Trustee of Grinnell College; Chair and Trustee of SAG-Producers Pension Plan; Chair and Trustee of the SAG-AFTRA Health Plan; and Vice Chair of the Entertainment Industry Advancement and Cooperative Fund.   

A Rhodes Scholar and graduate of Stanford Law School, David was co-captain and quarterback of the football team at his undergraduate alma mater, Grinnell College. He is a native of Kansas City, Missouri.
