Mr. Pisano is a 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry in business and legal practice. He currently serves as the National Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of The Screen Actor’s Guild. From 1993 to 1999, Pisano was Executive Vice President and then the Vice Chairman of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. During his tenure with MGM, Pisano oversaw the acquisition of Orion Pictures and PolyGram Filmed Entertainment, creating the world’s largest and most honored film library.

Prior to joining MGM, Pisano was Executive Vice President of Paramount Pictures, serving as General Counsel and a member of the Office of the Chairman. Pisano was also a partner of the law firm O’Melveny & Meyers, where he specialized in business litigation and entertainment matters.
Mr. Pisano currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Coppola Group, State Net, NetFlix, FPA Capital Fund and the Performing Arts Center of Los Angeles County. He is also a member of the executive branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Robert Pisano to its Board of Directors. The appointment of Mr. Pisano is effective immediately and increases the Board of Directors to nine members, six of whom qualify as independent directors.Mr. Pisano is a 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry in business and legal practice.
