Resources Global Professionals Launches Italian Practice

COSTA MESA, Calif., and MILAN, July 23, 2007 – Resources Global Professionals ("Resources"), a leading multinational provider of professional services and the operating subsidiary of Resources Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ: RECN), is pleased to announce its entry in the dynamic Italian market with the opening of its office in Milan, the country's commercial capital, as it expands its business to serve U.S. and international companies operating in Europe's fourth-largest economy.

To develop its professional services business in Italy, California-based Resources has recruited corporate finance executive Gabriele Giacoma to head the Milan office, as managing director. Mr. Giacoma, 38, previously a partner in Milan-based Corporate Financial Services S.r.L, and a director with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in Milan, specializes in mergers & acquisitions valuation and due diligence, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and financial audit services. He will report to Ronald Houtveen, Regional Managing Director, Netherlands.

Europe is the second-largest geographic source of revenue for Resources, which partners with many of the largest companies in the U.S. and internationally by working alongside their people to help them execute internal business initiatives and compete more successfully in a global economy. Resources provides expertise in finance and accounting, human capital, information management, internal audit, legal and supply chain management to its worldwide client base.
