Resources Global Professionals Appoints Tanja Cebula to Senior Vice President, Member of Executive Officer Group

Costa Mesa, CA, May 22, 2007 -- Resources Global Professionals, a leading multinational provider of professional services and the operating subsidiary of Resources Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ: RECN), announced today the promotion of Tanja Cebula to Senior Vice President and member of the company's six-member Executive Officer Group.

Ms. Cebula, 45, a 10-year veteran of Resources Global Professionals, is responsible for the company's Western Region, which includes 18 U.S. offices from Honolulu to Kansas City and is Resources' second largest global region. In this role, she oversees operations, financials and recruiting while mentoring teams and offering strategic guidance to the practices within the region. This promotion also reflects Ms. Cebula's impact outside of her official responsibilities, including her marketing guidance, influence on Resources' corporate culture and overall leadership contributions.

Ms. Cebula began her Resources career in 1997, when Resources was still a subsidiary of Deloitte & Touche, as Managing Director and founder of the Company's Portland, Oregon office. She played a key role in Resources' management-led buyout from Deloitte & Touche in 1999. She moved to Southern California as Regional Managing Director in 2000 to oversee offices in that area, taking on responsibility for the Pacific Northwest in 2002 and the entire Western Region in 2004. Over the last two years, revenues for the Western Region have almost doubled while, since 2000, Southern California revenues have increased nearly fivefold.

"It is with great pleasure that I announce Tanja's promotion to Senior Vice President and welcome her to our Executive Officer Group, where her insights will be highly valued," said Donald B. Murray, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Resources Global Professionals. "This promotion is very well deserved and recognizes Tanja's contribution as one of the leaders from the beginning of our business. For more than a decade, Tanja has helped us build a strong corporate culture, successful business strategy and well respected position in the marketplace."

Prior to her Resources career, Ms. Cebula served as Product Director for Johnson & Johnson Medical in Dallas, Texas and Senior Auditor for Deloitte & Touche in Portland, Oregon.

Currently, she is on the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board in Orange, California. In addition, she co-founded the Breast Health Awareness Foundation whose mission is to bring breast cancer awareness to corporate America. A five-year breast cancer survivor, Ms. Cebula is an avid runner and proponent of exercise for health and well-being. She has also served on the board of the Oregon Council for Hispanic Advancement.

Ms. Cebula received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University and her Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. She and her family reside in Tustin, California.
