SEC Chairman to Headline Corporate Governance Summit at USC Marshall School of Business

LOS ANGELES (Feb. 27, 2007) -- Christopher Cox, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, will keynote the Corporate Governance Summit at the USC Marshall School of Business during a March 23 luncheon. In addition to Mr. Cox, a host of other panelists and speakers will provide insight into business ethics and governance issues.

The two-day summit begins March 22 on the main Los Angeles campus of the University of Southern California. A complete summit program is available at www.marshall.usc.edu/cgsummit.

Chairman Cox will speak at 11 a.m. on March 23, followed by a networking lunch, both of which are open to members of the media. Most summit sessions are open only to registered attendees of the event, but speakers will be available for media interviews in advance and during the summit by contacting John Lockhart at (800) 600-7111 x 224 or jlockhart@peoplemediagroup.com. For interviews with corporate sponsor Resources Global Professionals, please contact Sarah Lazarus at (978) 369-4478 or sarah@cl-media.com.

President George W. Bush appointed Chairman Cox to the SEC in June 2005 after the chairman had served a distinguished career as a Republican Congressman from California. In his first year at the SEC, Chairman Cox made vigorous enforcement of securities laws the agency's top priority.

Chairman Cox has assumed leadership of the global effort to provide investors with interactive data about companies and mutual funds, and has reinvigorated the agency's initiative to provide important investor information in plain English. He also is championing efforts to more closely integrate U.S. and overseas regulation in an era of global capital markets.

Institutional Shareholder Services, Inc., has accredited the conference, which is presented in partnership with Resources Global Professionals, a multinational professional services firm.
