Resources Global Professionals Named to Forbes Magazine's 200 Best Small Companies List in America for Fifth Consecutive Year

COSTA MESA, Calif., November 29, 2006 – Resources Global Professionals, a leading multinational provider of professional services and the operating subsidiary of Resources Connection, Inc. (Nasdaq: RECN), is pleased to announce that the company has been selected as one of America's 200 Best Companies for 2006 by Forbes magazine.

Costa Mesa, California-based Resources placed #66 on the Forbes list and its selection in 2006 marks the fifth consecutive year that the company has been honored as one of America's 200 Best Small Companies. Resources is one of only 23 companies to be named to the Forbes list every year since 2002. The Forbes list, published in the magazine's October 30, 2006, issue, is based on a number of factors, including sales and profit growth and profit margin.

"We are very pleased to be honored by Forbes as one of America's 200 Best Small Companies for 2006 and, particularly, to make this influential list for five years running," said Donald B. Murray, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Resources Global Professionals. "Our business model is effective and we continue to deliver impressive results on our global growth strategy, as evidenced by the strong start in our fiscal 2007."

In the fiscal first quarter ended August 31, 2006, Resources increased total revenue 10.4% to $165.1 million, from $149.6 million in the year-earlier period.

Founded in 1996, Resources has been a publicly traded company since December 2000. Since its stock market listing, the company increased its annual revenue fivefold to approximately $634 million in fiscal 2006, and its net income more than nine times to beyond $60 million. In addition, the firm has tripled the number of global employees to 3,600, and has more than doubled the number of offices in the U.S. and internationally to 79.

In September, Resources was named #61 on Fortune magazine's list of 100 Fastest-Growing Companies for 2006. In June, Resources placed #21 on BusinessWeek's list of 100 Hot Growth Companies to watch in 2006.
