Resources Holds First policyIQ smarterconference, Previews Upcoming Version 6.0 of policyIQ Software

LAS VEGAS, NV, Nov. 16, 2006 - Resources Global Professionals, the operating subsidiary of Resources Connection Inc., (NASDAQ: RECN), held its inaugural policyIQ smarterconference, during which the new 6.0 version of the policyIQ content management software was previewed.

The October conference, held at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, was attended by 130 policyIQ clients and prospects across more than 12 industry segments. policyIQ software is used by companies to create and communicate policies and procedures, track Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance documents, manage contracts, perform internal audit testing, and for other content and document management needs. Delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (or SaaS) offering, policyIQ is accessed over the Internet and requires no IT investment or additional resources for client companies to implement.

"The policyIQ user conference provided the perfect setting for users and potential users to exchange essential tips and gain valuable insight into the far-reaching power of policyIQ," said Linda Housand, Manager of Financial Controls for Cubic Corporation. Housand added that with the help of policyIQ and greater corporate efficiencies, her company's external compliance costs have been reduced significantly. She also noted that in addition to using policyIQ for SOX compliance, Cubic plans to begin using it for corporate policies and procedures.

Kevin Barresi, Director of Financial Compliance for Sealed Air Corporation, uses policyIQ for SOX compliance. "The conference showcased version 6.0 of policyIQ, a huge enhancement to the existing software," he said. "Its compliance and contract management functionalities were greatly enhanced while making the product even easier to use."

Version 6.0 of the policyIQ software, set to be released in early 2007, will be the most significant update in the software's history. Taking advantage of Web 2.0 technologies, policyIQ will feel and act like a desktop application. And version 6.0 includes the company's first Forms Management module for day-to-day data collection from a customer's employees.

"We are so pleased at the level of client participation in our first smarterconference," said Rocco Tarasi, Managing Director of policyIQ for Resources Global Professionals. "Based on this level of interest, it's not too early to begin planning our follow-up conference."

Featured presenters at this year's conference included Kevin Barresi, Director of Financial Compliance for Sealed Air Corporation, an Elmwood Park, N.J.-based leading global manufacturer of a wide range of food and protective packaging materials and systems including such widely recognized brands as Bubble Wrap® cushioning, Jiffy® protective mailers and Cryovac® food packaging products; Amanda Crockett, Compliance Officer and Sarbanes-Oxley manager at Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc., a Boston-based national holding company that owns independently operated financial services firms across the U.S.; Linda Housand, Manager of Financial Controls, Cubic Corporation, an innovative San Diego-based supplier of products, systems and services to government customers in more than 50 nations.; Zan Reynolds, Executive Director of Real Estate at the University of Central Florida Foundation, Orlando, Fla.; and Kathy Wilhide, Research Director of IDC, the premier global provider of market intelligence, advisory services, and events for the information technology, telecommunications, and consumer technology markets based in Framingham, Mass.
