Resources Connection Announces The Brand Consolidation Of The Procurement Centre Name To Resources Connection

COSTA MESA, Calif., January 7, 2004 - Resources Connection, Inc. (Nasdaq: RECN), an international professional services firm, announced today that in order to consolidate its brand across all professional service lines, The Procurement Centre, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Resources Connection, has been renamed Resources Connection. The Procurement Centre will go to market as the Supply Chain Management Practice within Resources Connection.

Resources Connection acquired The Procurement Centre, a leading professional services provider of supply chain management solutions, in October 2002. During the past fourteen months, The Procurement Centre has leveraged the infrastructure of Resources Connection to expand its business beyond the Texas region and will continue this expansion under the Resources Connection brand.
