Betty spent four years as Client Service Director for Resources Connection in Atlanta where she managed and developed existing client relationships. Prior to Resources Connection, Betty was a Senior Vice President in the Global Corporate Finance Division of NationsBank (now Bank of America). In this position, Betty worked with the financial executives of Fortune 1000 and middle-market clients to develop funding strategies such as debt structuring, commercial paper programs and corporate treasury management.
Prior to NationsBank, Betty worked as the Accounting Manager for Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, Inc. where she managed accounting, financial reporting, operations budgeting and external audit. In addition, she previously worked as a Division Accountant at The University of Tennessee Space Institute where she managed financial reporting and budgeting for various contracts within the Department of Energy.
Betty received her BBA from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in accounting and her MBA from Georgia State University with a finance major. She received a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University and Ecole Superior de Commerce, Nantes, France. She holds both a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
